Round up the scout troops to see how a modest slab of clay can be transformed into a hand–crafted work of art! Scouts will be given a tour of the Clayground Studio, and will see how their very own piece of pottery is glazed and fired.
This ceramics badge requires scouts to attend two sessions in order to create something from raw clay. In addition to earning that badge, they’ll have a final masterpiece they can either keep as a memento, or wrap up and hand off as a special gift!
RAW CLAY NEEDS 2 WEEKS TO DRY
After a first session, plan to bring the scouts back after two weeks after for the followup session.
